Marshmallow Snowflakes

This is another craft that is super quick to set up, has little to no clean-up, and can keep them entertained for hours.

Supply List:

Toothpicks

Mini marshmallows

Bingo dobber

Marker

Cost: Less than $5

Set-up Time: Less than 5 minutes

Clean-up Time: Less than 5 minutes

Big M always finds it easier to get started with a new craft, if she has a little guidance, not just a blank page. So to kick her off, I used the Bingo dobber and a marker to outline some simple snowflake shapes. I told her the lines were where she should place the toothpicks, and the dots represented marshmallows connecting them together. We started off simple…

… and got more complex. After completing the third snowflake template, she started building up, “like Elsa’s ice castle!” My little budding engineer!
