If you notice brown coloring creeping up on your flowers, they might be planted in too sunny of a location in your yard. Even though it's too late to move them this season, try putting a layer of mulch around the plants to keep the soil moist.

A jolt of hot water will wake them right up. Just boil water and pour it into a cup or any container. Then, cut the hydrangea stems to the desired length and stand them in the hot water for 30 seconds. Immediately after, put them in a vase with room temperature water. Tah-dah!
