Kids will have a blast with this Mad Scientist Slime Experiment!

Spoiler alert: they went wild. They already love science and slime. So when I combined them and let them be scientist for a day with this science kit slime, they just loved it! I mean, absolutely loved it! (and something about the slime being in beakers just made it even more fun!)

HOW TO MAKE YOUR SCIENCE KIT SLIME

Items needed:

  • 1 bottle clear elmer’s glue
  • 1 bottle white elmer’s glue
  • 2 teaspoons glitter of choice
  • 6 drops neon green food coloring
  • 4 drops purple food coloring
  • 8 tablespoon Purex Sta-Flo liquid laundry starch
  • 2 science bottles

Directions:

In a small bowl, pour your clear glue and add neon green food coloring. Stir them well. Add in one teaspoon of the glitter and stir.

Add one teaspoon of your starch at a time, up to four tablespoons, until you get the slime consistency. Set aside.

In another small bowl, pour your white glue and add purple food coloring. Stir them well. Add in one teaspoon of glitter and stir.

Again, add one teaspoon of your starch at a time, up to four tablespoons, until you get the slime consistency. Set aside.

Pour each slime color into a beaker and play!

My kids absolutely loved the opportunity to be a scientist for a day. They loved the different colors and textures of the slime and the fact that they got to play with beakers! I can bet that your kids will go nuts over this science kit slime like mine have.
